Hey there! I’m Haylee, and I consider myself a communications jack-of-all-trades, bringing 5 years of combined experience in journalism, marketing, and PR.
As a journalist with an NYU master’s degree, I’ve extensively covered food, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, and more, writing for publications such as Elite Daily, The Zoe Report, NYLON, and Distractify. Additionally, I am a content marketer and media strategist, seasoned in everything from social media management to graphic design and copywriting. Currently, I work in a PR/data journalism position at a small travel start-up.
Having lived abroad for six years, I am a self-proclaimed travel aficionado. With 30+ countries under my belt, all documented on my Instagram @hayleethorson, I’m a great resource for travel tips. When I’m not out exploring, you can find me at local thrift shops, bookstores, wine bars, or virtually any grassy area in New York City.
